— Dr. Ąžuolas Danielius, Head of Clinic, Dentist
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots anchored in the jawbone. It is the strongest and longest-lasting solution for missing teeth, restoring both function and aesthetics.
Titanium screw anchored in the jawbone, replaces the natural tooth root
Connecting part attached to the implant, holding the crown or bridge
Visible part of the tooth, restoring aesthetics and functionality
When implants are already placed in the jawbone and well integrated, the dental prosthetics stage begins.
The doctor takes dental impressions, based on which individual crowns are made in the laboratory. Usually, their production takes about 10 days. Crowns can be made of different materials, which also affects the total prosthetics price.
This is the simplest case: an individual crown is made in the laboratory and attached to the implant abutment. The implant replaces the natural tooth root, so the crown acts like a real tooth, and the bone in the place of the lost tooth remains.
Previously, bridge prostheses were used instead of implants, which required grinding down healthy adjacent teeth. When restoring with implants, healthy teeth are preserved, and the prosthesis will serve longer.
When several teeth are missing in one row, at least two implants are used, on which a bridge of crowns is placed. Two implants usually hold three crowns, sometimes – four, but then the load on the implants is greater.
If more than four teeth are missing, more implants are needed. The number is determined by the dentist so that chewing forces are evenly distributed and the prosthesis is long-lasting.
Using implants in an edentulous jaw, the patient avoids classic denture problems: they can slip, fall out, be uncomfortable. Without tooth roots, the bone rapidly resorbs, the face may look older.
Implants help maintain facial structure and youthful appearance. Edentulous jaw prosthetics can be performed with fixed or removable prostheses on implants.
Implants offer many advantages compared to other tooth restoration methods.

Beautiful smile increases self-confidence.
10 year warranty is given for the best implants.

We answer the most popular questions about dental implantation.
The implantation operation itself is performed under local anesthesia, so you do not feel pain during the operation. After the operation, there may be some discomfort and swelling, but it is easily controlled with medication and passes within a few days.
Implants can be placed when growth is finished, usually around 18-20 years of age. It is important that the jawbone is fully developed.
Implant rejection risk is very low - only 1-2%. Risk is increased by smoking, poor oral hygiene, certain health disorders (diabetes, osteoporosis). Our specialists assess your risk before the operation.
Full implant integration with bone takes 3-6 months. During this period you can use a temporary crown. After healing, the final crown is mounted.
Certain parts of implantation may be compensated from PSDF, especially if several teeth are missing and it meets criteria. We will provide detailed information during consultation.
"All-on-4" is a modern tooth restoration method for people who have lost most or all teeth. This method allows restoring the entire jaw tooth row using only four implants. It is a great alternative to classic removable dentures, because new teeth are strong, stable and feel like natural.
During one visit, the doctor removes remaining damaged teeth and screws in 4 implants. A fixed temporary prosthesis is attached to them, so the patient can immediately enjoy a new smile. When implants fully integrate into the bone, the temporary prosthesis is replaced with a permanent, strong and aesthetic fixed dental prosthesis.
