❓ What makes up a dental implant?

A dental implant is not just a screw. It is a system that replicates the natural tooth structure. It consists of three main parts:

  • Implant (screw) – surgically screwed into the jaw (acts as a root).
  • Abutment – connecting part between the implant and the crown.
  • Crown – visible part of the tooth (zirconia or metal ceramic).

🧪 Titanium or Zirconia implants?

We usually use titanium, but we also have solutions for allergic people.

"Golden standard". Titanium is biocompatible, extremely light and strong. Integrates best with the bone.

Zr

Zirconia implants

White color ceramic (metal-free). Suitable for patients with thin gums (so that metal does not shine through) or having an allergy to titanium.

Which implant to choose?

This is decided during the consultation. If the bone condition is good – economical Osstem will serve perfectly. If the situation is complex, fast healing is needed – we will recommend Straumann.

How long do implants last?

With proper care (brushing teeth, visiting for hygiene), implants last a lifetime.

What is the warranty?

Manufacturers provide a lifetime warranty for the product for all our implants.
